Weymouth is the home of the British Sailing team and offers some of the best foiling conditions available in the UK. We’ve spent a lot of the last year coaching the British Youth Squad in the flat waters of Portland harbour so it seems a no brainer to take advantage of this amazing location for our regular camps. Here’s why:

• The huge harbour offers a protected kitesurfing spot, which allows us to kite in every wind direction with flat water and miles of space.

• Safety boat cover - we’ll have a boat to coach from to ensure you’re kept safe on the water and we can maximise all conditions.

• A no wind day? Tow foiling behind the boat is a great way to hone your foiling skills

• Lots of options for accommodation, including great value rooms at RYA Portland House, whether you want single occupancy or 4 sharing in a family room.

• Unique filming and photography opportunities to maximise your kite foiling development. We can get close to the action to ensure we capture all your mistakes, helping you to better understand how to fix them. Daily view analysis at Portland House training room.

• Max 8 guests to 2 coaches -  ensuring you get coaching tailored to your needs.

Wind and Weather

• Consistent sea breeze’s throughout the summer, the frontal South Westerly winds are enhanced by a local sea breeze effect when the sun is shining producing fantastic consistent conditions.

• Summer times generally have lighter breezes in the UK, but do be prepared to be on smaller kites if a weather front does come our way. Bring all your kites from 5m - 15m.

• The water is warm, so a 3/2 long summer wetsuit will be fine. Booties can be helpful as there are a few rocks on the shoreline, once you’re in the water it’s all sand!

Who is this clinic best suited to?

• You already own your own hydrofoil (rental options are available).

• You’ve already had a few session and at a minimum are able to waterstart and riding along off the foil holding your ground upwind

• Through to kitefoilers who are looking to learn or improve their gybes, foot changes, 360's, tacks or jumping!

• Whatever your level do get in touch and we can discuss if this particular clinic will be best for you.
