Kitefoil
Portland Harbour, UK
The UK's best flat water foiling spot and one of our best camps of 2025, returns for its third year!
Booking EnquiryWe are back in Portland Harbour for our third year of coaching in one of the best foiling locations in the UK. This early summer week is perfect for riders who want to sharpen their skills, get tuned up for the season ahead, and take advantage of Portland’s reliable sea breeze patterns before the summer crowds arrive.
Rob is now based in Portland, so this is his home spot. That means deeper local knowledge, better planning around tides and micro-conditions, and more activities lined up for any light-wind days.
We limit the camp to 8 riders, supported by 2 coaches, to give you focused, personalised progress all week.
If these dates don't work for you, check out our later camp in August

Booking EnquiryWind and Weather
June is a strong month for kitefoiling in Portland. Afternoon thermal breezes often develop on sunny days, and any passing south westerly systems are usually boosted by the local sea breeze effect.
Bring a full range of kites from 5 to 15 metres. The water is warm by June but worth have your 5/3 and 3/2 summer wetsuit to cover all conditions. Booties help for the shoreline stones, though once you are in the harbour it is sand underfoot.
