Kitefoil
Portland Harbour, UK
The UK's best flat water foiling spot and one of our best camps of 2025, returns for its third year!
Booking EnquiryThe August Portland camp is always one of the first to fill. It runs right in the middle of the British summer and, just like the last two years, we expect excellent consistency. In 2024 and 2025 we had five full days of kitefoiling and one day of tow foiling. August delivers strong thermal patterns, long days on the water, and a brilliant atmosphere.
Rob now lives in Portland, and this is his daily spot. That means a deeper understanding of the conditions, smoother planning around tides and weather patterns, and great backup plans for light wind days.
Places are limited to 8 riders with 2 coaches to keep the coaching personal and focused.
If these dates don't work for you, check out our earlier camp in June

Booking EnquiryWind and Weather
August is the strongest and most reliable month for kitefoiling in Portland Harbour. Warm temperatures and sunny days combine with Portland’s unique layout to create a powerful thermal effect on top of the standard south westerly airflow.
Expect anything from 8 to 25 knots. Bring everything from your 5 metre to your 15 metre. A 3/2 wetsuit is ideal for most riders. The water is warm and mostly sandy underfoot.
